The Oakbrook Chapter of LEADS has been in existence for over 20 years.  We have members that have been in the group since the early 1990’s.  Many of our members have 20 or more years experience in their industry; so we have some very seasoned veterans in our group. 

In 2009, the group generated around $110,000 of commissions from referrals, with an average of approximately 13 members.  That means the members made nearly $8500 from this networking group!  With an annual cost of membership at $336, that’s a pretty good ROI!  Even after figuring in the cost of a nice breakfast served in a private room at the Dupage Club, the return on investment is 9 to 1.  (NOTE:  Our club has been as large as 23 members and as low as 11 members.  Obviously the more members, the larger the commissions generated from the group.) 

We meet at the Dupage Club in Oakbrook Terrace at 7:30am every Thursday morning.  We are seated in a private room with coffee, juice and water, and are served a plated breakfast that can include eggs, potatoes, bacon, sausage, toast and other items.  (Fruit plates are available upon request.)  The private room works great and allows us to conduct our meeting without interruptions or deal with the hassle of placing orders, paying the bill and leaving a tip.  One person in our club is in charge of collecting a monthly fee that covers our breakfasts each month. 

Guests are welcome to visit on any given Thursday, and our club will pay for your breakfast and waive our visitor fee for your first visit.  We only ask that you please RSVP so we know to order breakfast. For reservations please call 630-738-6677.  (But if you forget, come anyways; the cook can whip up another breakfast!) You are allowed to visit our group twice before making a decision to join.  So it makes sense to come back a second time to decide if this is a good fit.
